Born in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and raised in Lake Station, Indiana, Tabitha learned early that true leadership begins with kindness, compassion, and service to others. When her family moved to Minnesota the summer before seventh grade, she carried those small-town values with her — a deep appreciation for connection, volunteerism, and the quiet practice of giving back.
She believes that every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and included. Throughout her life, she has been passionate about creating spaces where people from all backgrounds feel welcomed and respected. While she believes diversity and inclusivity are essential to strong communities, she also believes the most meaningful change begins through simple acts of empathy and genuine human connection.

Her commitment to service has been reflected through leadership and community involvement across many areas of her life. As a Lino Lakes Ambassador, she has proudly represented her community while strengthening her skills in leadership, public speaking, and civic engagement.
She also founded and served as President of the Black Student Union at her high school, where she worked to encourage cultural awareness, student leadership, and meaningful dialogue. Creating an environment centered around respect, inclusivity, and empowerment became one of the most rewarding experiences of her life — and reinforced her belief that leadership is rooted in service.
Professionally, Tabitha works as a Personal Care Assistant. Caring for others during vulnerable moments requires patience and kindness, and it has taught her the importance of treating every individual with dignity.
At the center of it all is her family. Tabitha calls her mom her heart — her best friend, her biggest cheerleader, the picture of compassion, servanthood, and strength she's been modeling herself after for as long as she can remember. Each of her siblings has a string they can tug in their own way, and being their older sister is one of the things that fuels her most. Making her mom proud, she'll tell you, is always the goal.
Her family taught her what it means to show up — to show love by knowing someone, and being attentive enough in that knowing to anticipate what they need, sometimes before they know themselves. Without them, she'll be the first to say, she wouldn't be anywhere near the person she is today.
